DUJDC Provides Jazz Dance Master Classes

For:	Intermediate and Advanced Jazz Dance students ages 11+
Length:	45 minutes to 2.0 hours depending on experience levels and time available
Location:	Black Box theatre or Dance Studio (to be arranged)
Description:	Marilyn York and several of the DUJDC dancers present Jazz Dance master classes tailored to the age and experience of your dancers. Each class includes a jazz dance oriented warm up, 1-2 choreography sequences, and DUJDC dancer demonstrations. Marilyn blends into the program: relevant jazz dance historical information, tips for transitioning between ballet and modern technique to jazz dance technique, and injury prevention tips. DUJDC believes that young dancers benefit by working with well-rounded professional dancers, observing polished technique and stage expertise up close. We emphasize the importance of ballet and modern dance for building strengths in jazz dance. Jazz Dance often inspires students to continue and leverage their ballet and modern dance programs, take them more seriously.
Pricing Factors:	Length of the class, number of students, our instructor fee, number of DUJDC dancer assistants, travel required, and studio or theatre rental fees if required.
