Megan Ellard
Megan Ellard grew up dancing across the country as part of a military family. She graduated from the Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA) studio in Kingstowne, Virginia as well as the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts dance program at Woodbridge Senior High School in 2012, where she primarily studied ballet and modern/contemporary. She was part of the Youth Ballet Conservatory Program at MSA and the modern company OCDance, under the direction of Nancy Gross, at Woodbridge HS. She graduated from George Mason University with a minor studies certificate in dance in 2015, where she had the opportunity to include African and Afro-Cuban dance in her studies. While at GMU, she attended the SummerDance intensive and danced with Urbanknowlogy 101, Mason’s hip hop dance crew. She is currently teaching ballet, tap, and hip hop to children in the DMV area and is excited to be pursuing her dance performance career with Dancin’ Unlimited.
