Dancin’ Unlimited, as a non-profit arts organization, has created many new and exciting programs each year such as:  The Jazz & Tap Dance Festival, Dancin’ on Broadway, Dancin’ on Broadway & Beyond, That’s Jazz Dance, customized shows for conferences, business, events, festivals and special occasions.   Our repertoire ranges from concert to contemporary jazz dance, from Big Band era to Broadway.  We provide advanced dance training in Northern Virginia, including master classes, jazz dance instructor training, jazz dance technique & injury prevention for Dance teams.

Our work is entertaining, energetic, and family friendly.  We perform in cabaret and concert style venues, as well as community events and festivals.  Audiences comment that they like our innovative choreography, variety and enthusiasm.  We were selected to perform original choreography at the past Jazz Dance World Congresses, an international dance festival held in Chicago.

The company is composed of seasoned performers, all with extensive classical dance training and performance experience.  Dancin’ Unlimited provides its dancers with the opportunity to continue to gain more professional dance performance experience while still maintaining the highest standards for artistic achievement.  All dancers have individually auditioned to be members and are required to take company dance classes to maintain and improve their dance techniques.

For more than 40 years, Dancin’ Unlimited has produced and performed in their annual Jazz & Tap Dance Festival as part of a commitment to bringing the art of jazz dance to the community.  The festival is a showcase of regional dance companies and celebrates the vitality and breadth of jazz and tap dance. It also represents the aspirations of the dance companies and their dancers in the way they are continually challenging themselves, experimenting, and creating new ways of performing their art.

We have affiliations with two Fairfax County dance studios that provide rehearsal space and class facilities. We are a founding member of and provide leadership and organizational assistance for the Virginia County Dance Coalition (VCDC) to advance dance arts in Virginia.
